One Year at Vertical Primary Care: A Beautiful Journey

It has officially been 1 year since the doors first opened at Vertical Primary Care, and looking back, the word that keeps coming to mind is "gratitude." Sitting down to reflect on this first year, it’s easy to see that it has truly been a beautiful journey.

When I first envisioned this clinic, the goal was simple: to be able to keep my heart in medicine and balance my life as a wife and mother. One year in, I am so incredibly grateful to be practicing as a primary care provider in a way that feels both meaningful and deeply rewarding.

The Luxury of Time

The most significant change this past year has been the balance of time. In this model, I have the space to sit down and build close professional relationships with each person who walks through the door.

Instead of watching the clock, I get to focus on the person sitting in front of me. We have the time to dive into the "big picture" of health, share a few laughs, and work together on long-term wellness.

A Heartfelt Thank You

I am so thankful for the unwavering support of my husband and my family. They have been my rock and my cheering section since day one, helping me navigate the ups and downs of starting Vertical Primary Care.

I also want to extend a heartfelt thank you to my mentor and Supervising Physician, Dr. Robbie Grant. Our close professional relationship has been a cornerstone of this clinic. Her guidance, support, and shared commitment to thoughtful, high-quality care have been invaluable.

Most importantly, I want to express my deepest thanks to the patients who have joined the clinic this year. Thank you for your trust and for the privilege of being your primary care provider. It is an honor to be part of your health journey, and you are the reason I look forward to coming into the office every single morning.
